Approving publishers: offer requests and traffic restrictions

Modified on Mon, 17 Aug at 11:06 PM

Who gets to promote your offer depends on the offer's Visibility:

  • Active — any moderated Indoleads publisher can generate a link right away.
  • Need approval — publishers apply; you (or your Indoleads manager on your behalf) approve each one.
  • Private — invite-only; your manager adds selected publishers.

Reviewing requests: dashboard → Offers → Requests. For each request you see the publisher's email/ID, the traffic source they'll use (type + URL), the offer, and their Indoleads manager. Click Approve or Decline. Publishers get an email either way; declined ones usually ask their manager why — a one-line reason helps.

What to look at: does the source type match your allowed traffic (e.g. no coupon sites if you forbid coupons); is the site/channel real and on-topic; GEO of the audience. Requests sit unanswered → publishers lose interest; aim to answer within a week (our SLA to them is 2–7 business days).

Traffic restrictions are set per offer (Offer → Traffic restrictions): for each traffic type — allowed / need approval / forbidden. Typical forbidden: brand keyword bidding, incentivized/motivated traffic, adult, pop-ups, toolbars, doorways. Publishers see this list on the offer page and can only pick sources of allowed types when generating links — so a precise list prevents most violations before they happen.

Rather not review requests yourself? Ask your manager to handle approvals under agreed rules.
