Email notifications: SMTP settings and templates

Modified on Mon, 17 Aug at 11:07 PM

Without SMTP settings, no emails are sent from your network — no registration confirmations, no approval notices. Set it up before inviting users.

1. SMTPWhitelabel Settings → SMTP: mail host, port, username, password (an SMTP user of your domain, e.g. noreply@yourbrand.com; for Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 use an app password or a transactional service like SES, Postmark, Mailgun). Save and send yourself a test — register a test publisher and check the confirmation arrives. Make sure SPF/DKIM for your domain include the SMTP provider, or mail lands in spam.

2. TemplatesWhitelabel Settings → Email Templates. One HTML template per notification type:

  • Register confirmation
  • Register confirmation — new token (re-sent activation)
  • Approve user application
  • Decline user application
  • Postback approved
  • Update offer status

Edit the HTML (your logo, wording, language), keep the placeholders that insert the link/username, and Save. Empty template = the platform's default text is sent.

Tip: keep subject lines explicit ("Your account on {Network} is approved") — this is what your publishers will search their inbox for.
