SubIDs (p1–p4) and Sub-Publisher ID (s_id)

Modified on Mon, 17 Aug at 11:07 PM

Use these to see which placement, campaign or partner produced each click and conversion.

SubIDs — p1, p2, p3, p4
Four free-text parameters for your own segmentation (campaign, creative, keyword, your click ID). On the offer page tick Add subIDs, fill the fields, Update — or append them manually:
https://<tracking-domain>/5ff8861a63ee2?p1=summer_sale&p2=banner300x250&p3={your_click_id}
Syntax: ? right after the slug, & between parameters. Values come back to you in Conversions log (columns p1–p4), in the postback as {p1}…{p4}, and in the API.

Sub-Publisher ID — s_id
A label for a sub-affiliate working under your account (networks, agencies, teams). Append ?s_id=partner_42 or use the Sub-Publisher ID field at the bottom of the SubIDs form. Up to 255 chars, letters/digits/-/_ only, case-sensitive; created automatically on first click. Available in reports, as {sub_publisher_id} in postbacks and in the conversions API.

Rule of thumb: traffic source type (social, website, PPC…) → the Source you select when generating; sub-affiliate → s_id; campaign/creative slices → p1–p4.
