Hold is the time an advertiser takes to verify a conversion — confirm the order wasn't cancelled or returned, the lead is genuine, and the traffic followed the rules. It protects brands from fraud, and it's why you can't withdraw a commission the day after the sale.
There are two holds, one after the other:
- Advertiser hold — shown on the offer page ("Hold: 30 days"). During it the conversion is Pending.
- Indoleads hold — approx. 30 business days after approval, while we reconcile with the advertiser and receive the funds. During it the conversion is Approved / On Hold on your balance.
Example: offer hold 30 days + Indoleads ~30 business days ≈ 60+ calendar days from sale to Ready to withdraw.
Some verticals (travel, e-commerce with long return windows, finance) have longer advertiser holds — always check the offer page before promoting.
