Creating offers, categories and traffic restrictions

Modified on Mon, 17 Aug at 11:07 PM

Order of setup: categories → traffic restrictions → advertiser → offer → integration → test conversion.

1. Categories (verticals)Offers → Categories → Add: Travel, E-commerce, Finance, Software… Publishers filter the catalogue by them.

2. Traffic restrictionsSettings → Traffic restrictions → Add: the list of traffic types you'll allow/forbid per offer (Brand keyword bidding, PPC, Coupons, Cashback, Incentive, Pop-up, Doorway, Email, Social, Push, Native…). Once defined, each offer gets an allowed / need approval / forbidden switch per type, and publishers can only pick sources of allowed types.

3. OfferOffers → Add Offer. Key fields (full glossary in Offer setup for advertisers):

  • Advertiser (created earlier), title, description, logo, category, status (active/inactive), visibility (active / private / need approval), devices.
  • Website URL (preview) and Offer URL — the landing URL with tokens: {click_id} is mandatory for postback tracking; also {offer_id} {publisher_id} {p1}…{p4} {country_id} {random} etc.
  • Payout type (CPA / CPS / CPI), revenue (what the advertiser pays) and payout (what the publisher gets), short payout, hold period, cookie lifetime, GEO coverage, geo-redirect URL for non-target countries, cap.
  • Landing pages, deeplinking on/off, banners, XML/CSV feed.
  • Traffic restrictions per type; Add to announcement to notify publishers.

4. Conversion tracking — offer page → Conversion Tracking: choose Postback / Pixel / Container; the platform generates the exact code with your offer ID and security token. If the advertiser can pass the commission amount, choose "exact commission = Yes" (rate), otherwise "No" (sale_amount, payout calculated from the offer). Details: Integration options.

5. Test conversion — copy a tracking link from the offer page, open it, complete a test order on the advertiser's site → the conversion must appear in Reports → Conversions log. Only then set the offer to active.
