Why was my offer application rejected?

Modified on Mon, 17 Aug at 11:07 PM

The advertiser (sometimes our manager on their behalf) decides. Typical reasons:

  • Traffic type not accepted — you applied with a source type the offer forbids or requires separate approval for (e.g. coupon, incentive, brand PPC, email).
  • GEO mismatch — your audience is mostly outside the offer's countries.
  • Source can't be verified — no website/URL, an empty or brand-new page, no visible audience.
  • Content mismatch — the advertiser wants topical publishers (e.g. finance content for a broker offer).
  • Reputation — previous violations or many declined conversions on this advertiser's other offers.
  • Advertiser is full — capped budget or already enough partners in your GEO.

What you can do

  1. Read the rejection email — advertisers sometimes state the reason.
  2. Fix what's fixable: add a proper source with a working URL and description, choose the traffic type honestly.
  3. Ask your manager — they see the advertiser's note and can re-submit or suggest a similar offer that accepts your traffic.
  4. Re-applying with the same source and no changes rarely helps.
